Our method

How we grade and review.

We show how a practice moves from tradition to evidence. We re-review it on a schedule, so a grade always reflects the current science, not the day we first published it.

What the research says, honestly

The evidence for mindfulness is genuine but measured.

A large review of 47 trials (Goyal et al., JAMA Internal Medicine, 2014) found small-to-moderate reductions in anxiety, low mood, and pain. Real, helpful effects, not miracles. That honesty is the point: we grade every practice, cite the source, and say so when the evidence is still early. Results vary, and mindfulness isn’t right for everyone or every moment. InnerWise is general wellness, not treatment for a diagnosed condition.
