This is a working draft in plain language. The final version will name our analytics tool and pair with a consent notice on the website.
This page explains how our website and app use cookies and similar technologies, and how you stay in control.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files a site stores on your device. Similar technologies include local storage and device identifiers. They help a site remember you, keep you signed in, and understand how the product is used.
2. What we use, and why
- Strictly necessary. Needed for the site and app to work, such as keeping you signed in and secure. These cannot be turned off.
- Preferences. Remember choices like your settings, so you do not have to set them again.
- Analytics. Help us understand, in aggregate, which pages and features are useful, so we can improve them. We use privacy-first, cookieless analytics wherever we can.
[COLLECT: confirm analytics vendor]
We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not share health or well-being data with ad networks. If that ever changes, we will ask for your clear consent first.
3. Third parties
A small number of trusted providers help us run the service, such as hosting and analytics. They may set their own strictly-necessary or analytics cookies under their own policies. [COLLECT: final vendor list]
4. Your choices
- Use your browser or device settings to block or clear cookies at any time.
- Where a consent notice appears, you can accept or decline non-essential cookies, and change your mind later.
- Blocking strictly-necessary cookies may stop parts of the service from working.
5. Changes and contact
If we make a meaningful change here, we will update this page and, where needed, ask for consent again. Questions? Reach us through the Contact page.
